Types of birds in my backyard (will continue to update as new birds are noticed)

Posted on January 30, 2022

Types of birds at the bird feeder (this week, I will continue to update as I see new birds)

A pair of Northern cardinals.  The male has the iconic red body and the female is more dark brownish-red.  But she is still a beauty!

Suburban neighborhood frequent visitors!  They are everywhere in our neighborhood!

Blue Jay

Red-bellied Woodpecker.  I have a pair!  A male and a female!  The one with red on top is male (on the bottom) and the one without is female (on the top)!

You can see the bluish tone.  They come here everyday for some easy meal!  (Yes, he saw me taking his picture.)

Of course, my friend: American Robin.  I know that they have been visiting.  I just could not get pictures of them.  They had a nest in my yard last year.  What are some beautiful blue eggs 🙂

American Robin
Friends?  They both were looking for worms 🙂
